Bransgore Probus Club began with an inaugural meeting on Tuesday 13th November 1984 at the Burley Manor Hotel, Burley. (The second Tuesday of the month.) The club was inaugurated by the Rotary Clubs of Christchurch, Highcliffe and Ringwood with 27 founding members.
We still meet regularly on the second Tuesday of each month. Meetings commence at 10am with coffee on arrival followed by a talk at 10.30 for about an hour. See the Location Page for current venue.
The current fee to join Bransgore Probus is £10. There is an annual subscription of £20 payable in October. The cost of the monthly meeting currently stands at £23 which includes coffee on arrival, and following the talk, lunch including tea or coffee. Cost of bar drinks is extra.
Should you decide you wish to join us you will be made most welcome. Please call the Membership Secretary to make an arrangement for you to attend a meeting. On the day, you will be asked you to complete and return an application form with your cheque by mail.
Alternatively if a member introduced you, you may hand the form to them, preferably before our next Committee meeting which is the first Tuesday of each month, when we can complete the formalities.
After acceptance of your application you will receive a letter formally to welcome you and provide you with a printed list of members, their addresses and telephone numbers as well as by email, an updated list of members' email addresses to you.
